Damascus RAW Wedge
COMMISSIONS ARE OPEN. Every wedge is built to order. Once yours is commissioned it enters the current batch at the forge.
Build time: 3–4 weeks from commission, then it ships.
Run: One hundred heads a year, across all three lofts.
Numbered: Every head carries its forge number and its entry in the ledger.
Finish: RAW bare steel. No plating, no clear coat. It will rust, and it is meant to.
Forged: By hand in Colorado, from a single billet.
Made to order: Built for you, so it isn't returnable once the forge starts. Write to us before you commission if you're unsure of a loft.
Damascus RAW Wedge
The statement piece. Each head is forged from a single solid billet of layered 1020 carbon Damascus steel and finished by hand in Colorado. Dense and solid at impact, with a face that patterns differently in every billet. No two are alike. Yours exists exactly once.
One hundred heads a year. That is the entire run, across all three lofts. Every one is stamped with its forge number and entered in the ledger, numbers assigned in order of commission. The record keeps that permanently. When the year's hundred are spoken for, they are spoken for.
The ledger is Damascus only. It is the shorter run, forged start to finish on our own anvil, and the numbering exists because there is something finite to count.
We also make a 1020 carbon wedge. Same lofts, same bounce, its own look at address, and a slightly softer feel at impact. It carries the touchmark but no number, it is not a limited run, and it is not going anywhere. If this is the statement, that one is the gamer.
About the RAW finish
RAW means bare steel. No plating, no chrome, no clear coat. It will rust. Oxidation starts within the first few rounds and deepens over time into a patina shaped by your climate, your hands, and your turf. This is intended. A raw face grips the ball, and the finish keeps a record of the rounds you've played.
Wipe the face dry after play and oil the head from time to time. That steers the patina rather than stopping it.
